Michelle began her career as a lawyer and later retrained to teach legal studies. After joining Knox City Orthodontics part-time, she quickly discovered a passion for the world of orthodontics and transitioned into a full-time leadership role. She gets immense satisfaction from seeing the difference a smile transformation can make in someone’s life. Married to Dr Baker for over 30 years, Michelle is a proud mum of two adult children. She loves meeting new people, reading great books, and travelling whenever she can.

Simone

Treatment Coordinator

Simone joined Knox City Orthodontics as a dental assistant in 2004 and quickly became an integral part of the team. She transitioned into the treatment coordinator role in 2008, where she now helps new patients feel at ease, explains treatment plans clearly, and assists with everything from health fund rebates to payment plans. Simone is married with two children - Jaxon and Charlotte - and is a proud dog mum to Tilly and Jimmy. Her calm nature and attention to detail help patients feel supported every step of the way.

Clare grew up in Australia after moving from the UK as a young girl. With a business degree and background in HR, she keeps the front desk running smoothly and ensures every patient experience is seamless. From managing appointments to handling financial queries and health fund claims, Clare is a go-to source of calm and support for patients and families alike. Outside of work, she enjoys time with friends and family, travelling, and taking long walks with her dog, Sampson.

Edith

Dental Assistant

Originally from Romania, Edith brings a wealth of experience to her role as a dental assistant. She has a warm, reassuring approach and supports patients throughout their visits with expert care and compassion. Outside the clinic, Edith is a passionate film enthusiast and regularly volunteers at film festivals across Melbourne.

Liz

Hygienist

Liz began her career in dentistry in the early 1980s and has been part of the orthodontic world ever since. After gaining experience as a dental assistant in both general and orthodontic practices, she pursued further qualifications in dental hygiene. Since 1993, Liz has worked across a variety of clinics and brings a deep understanding of both oral hygiene and patient care. She continues to work part-time, balancing her love of dentistry with supporting her family and caring for her elderly parents.
